QAU examination system is semester based system. Exams are held for master, mphil & phd programme. One semester of msc, mphil & phd lasts for 16 weeks. For msc and mphil the duration is of 4 to 6 semester and for phd minimum duration is 3 years extendable upto a maximum of 7 years.
